Congratulations to South Valley’s G02 Carter for not only their acceptance into the prestigious SilverLake Fall Showcase, played over Thanksgiving weekend, but also for winning their bracket! South Valley G02 out-pointed the other 25 teams in their bracket by winning all of their matches, scoring 14 goals and posting 3 clean sheets. Great job, girls!

Alyssa Cleveland has decided to continue her education and her soccer career at CSU Bakersfield. She attends Highland High School and will be graduating in the spring of 2020. Alyssa is a member of South Valley G02, coached by Jason Carter. We are so proud of you, Alyssa!

South Valley’s Mia LaClare has committed to Trinity Western University, located in Langley, British Columbia, Canada! Mia will extend her soccer career at Trinity Western while majoring in Psychology. Mia has been a member of our club since she was a very young player and has been coached by Lornes Howlett, Jason Carter, and Monica Chambers over the years. Mia’s family hails from Canada and returns there to visit family and friends quite often. We wish Mia the best and extend our congratulations!

South Valley G00 Howlett, coach by Lorne Howlett, are champions of Coast Soccer League’s 2018 G2000 Premier Bracket!! The girls turned in an impressive fall season with 8 wins and only 1 loss. They have the distinguished honor of being the first girl’s team from Bakersfield to win one of CSL’s Premier Bracket in decades. This is an awesome accomplishment, and we are super proud to see all of their hard work and dedication pay off. GO THUNDER!!!
