Trinity Christian College is will have South Valley’s Paige Rogers in their mid-field! Paige is a member of Jason Carter’s G98 team and a member of one of our club’s two founding teams. Paige will be studying to receive an Education degree at Trinity and will compete in the NAIA’s Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Paige graduates from Liberty HS in June 2017. Great job, Paige!

Best wishes from the South Valley Thunder to our USA Women’s National Team as they enter the World Cup competition in Canada this coming week! We were lucky enough to get a sneak preview of the team when 310 people from our Thunder family all went to the WNT team game versus Mexico last month. What a blast! GO USA!!!

South Valley G98’s Caitlyn Goetjen has been named to the CalSouth 2000-age ODP pool. Caitlyn is the fourth South Valley player to be selected to participate in CalSouth ODP program within the last year. Best wishes to Caitlyn as she begins her sessions with CalSouth coaching staff!

South Valley’s G97 and G98 teams both went deep into CalSouth’s 2015 National Cup tournament. For two years in a row, the G97s advanced to the quarter-final round, and this year, the G98s participated in the semi-finals, losing to the eventual tournament winner. For the G98s, it was five weekends of consistent, high-level play that saw them through to the Final Four which has also earned them an automatic berth into the California Regional League for the 2015/16 season. Both teams are coached by South Valley’s Director of Coaching, Jason Carter. Great job to all . . . players, coaches and parents!!
