This past weekend, South Valley’s B07 Azemika, G06 Gore, and G08 White teams won championships at the Eagles Elite Cup in Camarillo! Both G06 Gore and G08 White went undefeated in the tournament, beating teams from LAPFC, Santa Barbara FC, Oxnard United and Eagles FC. B07 Azemika competed in an everybody-got-beat-up bracket and prevailed to win in the Championship Match against the Eagles. Great job South Valley!!

Karla Guzman will extend her soccer career while pursuing a Chemistry degree at the United States Naval Academy! Karla is a member of Coach Jason Carter’s G99/00 team and has played in our club since she was a young girl. We’re very proud of her accomplishments both on and off the field !

Mia Ontiveros will extend her soccer career at Humbolt State as of the Fall 2018 season! Congratulations to Mia who is a member of South Valley’s G99/00 Carter team. Mia attends Independence High School and plans to major in Psychology while at Humbolt State. Humbolt competes in the CCAA, one of the country’s top NCAA D2 leagues!

South Valley’s G08 White, coached by Silver Arias and Artie Lynch, won the top flight of the LA Galaxy’s Orange County Tournament of Champions last weekend! In doing so, the girls went undefeated in four games. Along the way, they defeated teams from Legends FC, LA Galaxy, Westside Breakers, and Beach FC. Great job girls!!

South Valley had three teams with the distinction of being accepted into November Night’s College Showcase held over Thanksgiving weekend: G1999/2000 Carter, G2001 Howlett, and G2002 Carter. All three teams played through the event with solid performances. G1999/2000 Carter and G2001 Howlett both placed first in their brackets and all three teams had great coach attendance at their matches! Great job girls and good luck during the high school season . . .
