Kaitlin Swift has committed to play college soccer for Westmont after graduating from Garces Memorial High School in May of 2012. Kaitlin is a member of the South Valley G93, and we wish her well in her upcoming final season with our club!

The South Valley G00 Chambers competitive U11 girls’ team traveled down to Valencia on June 28 to watch the USL W League’s Colorado Force take on the Santa Clarita Blue Heat. The girls had a great time visiting with the W League players after the game, and had even more fun on the following day when the players from the Colorado Force trained with them in Bakersfield. Awesome!

Congratulations to our South Valley G93 teams for winning the Laguna Hills Eclipse College Showcase over Memorial Day weekend! They posted two draws and two wins in route to winning this prestigious tournament title.

A huge congratulations to our SV Thunder G01 team, coached by Troy Lynch, for winning the 2011 Madrid Premier Cup this weekend. Their total domination of pool play earned them a spot in the finals. They defeated Santa Barbara G01 White 3-2. Way to go girls!

South Valley SC congratulates all of its high school players for their outstanding seasons! All toll, our players accumulated twenty-one (21) All-Area selections and twenty-eight (28) All-League honors. Jose Tirado, SVSC B91-Othart, was named The Bakersfield Californian’s All-Area Boys’ MVP. He played his high school career for Coach Troy Lynch at Golden Valley High School and is committed to CSUB for next season.
