Taylor Lucas Commits to CSU Stanislaus!

Taylor Lucas has verbally committed to continue her soccer career at CSU Stanislaus where she will study nursing! CSUS is a perennial D2 powerhouse in one of the most competitive D2 leagues in the country. We congratulate Taylor for her commitment to her craft and to our club. Taylor is on our South Valley G01 Howlett team and has played in our club since she was nine years old! Great job, Taylor!!

South Valley Donates to Ronald McDonald House

The South Valley Soccer Club donated $2000 to Scarlett Sabin and the Bakersfield Ronald McDonald House located at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital. Pictured is South Valley’s President, Jason Carter and the girls ’02 team awarding the check to Scarlett Sabin. The $2000 was part of the proceeds generated by the Chuy’s “October Nights” Cornhole Tournament, held October 7, and sponsored by South Valley Soccer Club. South Valley is honored to support a local organization that provides families with personal necessities and lodging while their children receive specialized medical treatment at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital.

South Valley’s B08 La Force had another great tournament weekend playing in the top flight of the LA Galaxy Conejo Valley Tournament this past weekend. They defeated: Newbury Park Knights, 9-0; Real So Cal 3-2; and Simi Valley Eclipse 5-1. They fell in the championship match 1-2 to Real So Cal. Great showing, boys!

ANDREA ABORQUI Commits to CSU East Bay!

Congratulations to Andrea Aborqui on her verbal commitment to extend her soccer career with CSU East Bay! CSUEB competes at the highest level of NCAA Div2 soccer as a member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Andrea is a member of South Valley’s G00 Carter team, and she will graduate from Highland HS this spring. Her intended major is Psychology. Great job, Andrea!!

B08 La Force Win FAS Tournament!

South Valley’s B08 La Force team won the FAS tournament out at the Kern County Soccer Park this past weekend! Their level of play was outstanding and dominating the local competition is a fantastic reward for all of their hard work this spring/summer. Great job boys!!!!
